FEELING BLUE?

Today I am sharing with you eight of my favourite blue nail varnishes, for the start of my nail varnish series. So I shall begin from left to right as in the pictures above!

1. Cinderella by Sinful Colors: This is a very pretty pale blue colour with pink and gold shimmer, a perfect spring colour. This is available from boots for £1.99 (Cinderella)
2. Huckleburry by Barry M: This is a gorgeous baby blue and is definitely my favourite blue shade by far. It's a lovely spring shade recently been released by Barry M and I would definitely recommend it. You can get this from either Superdrug or Boots in the UK for £3.99 (Huckleburry)
3.Bikini So Teeny by Essie: This is my second favourite blue. It's a lovely bluebell/powder blue which I find after a few days fades to the nice powder blue with it's original colour being like the above picture. Now I was lucky enough to buy this from fragrance direct for £1.99 sadly I don't think that this shade is avaliable on there any more. However you can find it in Superdrug for £7.99 or cheaper with a bit of searching. (Bikini So Teeny)
4. Bold Blue by MUA: This is a bargain blue. I have mentioned this before in a previous blog post here so check that out for more of my thoughts on it . It can be found again in Superdrug for £1 (Bold Blue)
5. No name? by Colour Couture: this is a very stand out blue perfect for the summer. I honestly don't know any other ways to describe this colour other than bright and bold. Sadly, I don't think this can be bought separately as this was part of the colour couture nail varnish diary 2014
6. Why not? by Sinful Colors: Is again another bright blue cream nail varnish which can be built up into a deeper bold blue colour which I think is suited for the colder times of the year. This again can be bought from Boots from £1.99 (Why Not?)
7.Sapphire by Forever 21: This is a dark blue but not yet navy colour. This is very new to my collection but I had to include it as I don't really have any shade similar to this however looking at the picture above it looks very similar to Why Not? I don't think you can get hold of this in the UK however I know it's stocked in Forever 21 in America and costs $2.80
8. Navy by Barry M: Last but not least and is essential for top eight blue collection and that is having a navy! I was contemplating between this one and a ciate one but as I have had this longer, it wins! Navy is always a shade I go to in Autumn/Winter and definitely recommend people buying a navy for their collection. This is stocked in both Superdrug & Boots and retails for £2.99 (Navy)

Now that's enough of feeling blue. I hope you have enjoyed this little post and let me know in the comments below whether a series like this is a good idea or share your thoughts by tweeting me @ramblinhan

SMALL PRIMARK HAUL

Well a week or so ago I had a little trip into Primark just to have a browse at their current stock. From this browse it lead to me having a small splurge on the things above as well as some underwear which I shall not be showing in this post, tehehe.

First I picked up this cute mini satchel bag which reminded me of the ones in Topshop last summer which I wasn't willing to spend 20-30 something pound on but when I spotted this I was like I must get it. It was a bargain price at £6 and totally cute for spring as it's a pastel baby pink. They also have these bags in a range of colours. My friend told me that this was available in a baby blue colour and if this is true I may have to go hunt it down. This bag is definitely perfect for when you only want to take your phone, purse and keys out. Go Primark!

The second small thing I bought was this cute polka dot pastel clips in mint green and baby pink. I thought these were adorable I have another set from Primark which was available in autumn time with autumn colours. I love these as they are  handy when you want your hair to look like you've bothered with it. These add a little something to a simple hair style and at a cost of £1.50.

The final thing I got was a Makeup Bag. Now I was undecided on this for ages I kept picking it up and then putting it back and then I finally decided to treat myself to this. I can't remember whether this was 3 or 4 pounds, but it was just what I needed. I wanted to get a makeup bag which would fit everything in and be suitable for taking it with me to places e.g friends house. So this does the job perfectly replacing my proper travel makeup bag thing.

Now that's all I have from Primark today, and I'm sure I will do another Primark HAUL in the future. So as always feel free to leave your comments below about anything related to my blog or tweet me @ramblinhan
Until next time, love & peace han x

SMALL LUSH HAUL

My little baby sister was nice enough to treat me to some lush products whilst she was out shopping as she noticed that I was quite into baths at the moment and using my other sisters lush products. So this is my very tiny not much to say first lush haul.

So on the left we have think pink and on the right we have sex bomb. I must say they are the cutest bath bombs (I'm a sucker for cute things). Think Pink fragrance is vanilla and tonka, now I'm not going to lie I can't really remember the smell as it's been a few week since I used this. However, I'm sure it wasn't to overbearing as I struggle with things that are strongly scented as they give me headaches. As you can see from the picture it has three cute little flowers for decoration which are adorable. Once I put the whole thing in my bath I wasn't just delighted by the bath water being pink but by its cute little confetti hearts which appeared. For £2.50 it definitely made my bath more enjoyable (think pink)

Sex bomb is an amazing smell, like when I walked into my room I loved smelling it so fresh and calming.. if that's possible. Sex bomb's contains jasmine, ylang ylang and sage again not to over bearing. This one only provides you with purple bath water but again has a cute flower for decoration, (no hidden surprise). I only used half of this bomb for my bath and is nicely priced at £3.25 (sex bomb).

For my first own bath bombs from lush I was very happy. I definitely want to try out more of their bath bombs including their ones for Easter golden egg and fluffy egg, may have to go purchase them. I also want to try out their cleansers and face masks (I best get saving). Let me know what I should try from lush either by tweeting me @ramblinhan or letting me know in the comments below, really do appreciate opinions even if they cause me to go spending crazy hehe.
Until next time, love & peace han x

No7 EXTREME LENGTH MASCARA REVIEW

So this is my first ever mascara review and I am kind of nervous to type this. I recently ran out of mascara so my mum was kind enough to give me this mascara as a couple of these and I was happy to accept as I love trying new mascaras.

First thing first the packaging! I love the simplicity of the packaging and it being metallic purple, I personally think it makes it look sophisticated if that is possible haha. As for the wand it is just a simple plastic bristle wand the bristles are quite small so they are good at catching all eye lashes. Little side note that the packaging labeling does wear though not that this is a problem.

My thoughts? I love the fact that this mascara is not clumpy at all. It definitely gives me length not that the picture really shows that. In the picture (which isn't the best) I think I definitely coated it on my lashes as I like to make my eye lashes stand out and make them dark which you don't really get when you apply one layer. However if you are looking for something for like a natural look this mascara definitely does the job. I love it for them days when I can't be bothered to do my makeup properly. I also found this good when using it along side others for nights out. I tended to put this on first to provide me with length and separating my lashes but then I used another mascara to make them more dramatic and dark.

Overall, I am happy with this mascara I find it does create the length it says it does. I personally though wouldn't repurchase it again as for £12.50 I have found mascaras that I am happier with. If you want to check this out then you can click on the link here which will take you straight to it. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below or @ramblinhan I would love to hear future suggestions of mascaras to try out.
Until next time, love & peace, han x

WEEKLY UPDATE #4

So bad blogger me has failed to post my weekly update on a Sunday again! For this, my excuse is that I was too busy celebrating my friends 21st birthday which we bought her some Ted Baker earrings if you are interested in seeing them click here. So on the Sunday I was too busy curing my hangover by buying a maccies and sleeping instead of typing this. However unlike normally I have decide to include pictures before we went out to make this weekly update a bit more appealing.

Like always my week centered around university and attending lectures so there's nothing really to update you on sadly. However I do have an issue which has been putting me off blogging and that is I seem to have broken my sisters laptop, well broken it even more than it was (I should say). The laptop has an issue with the charger and has got to that stage that you have to place the charger in the right position for it to charge. This means that using it is extremely annoying and temperamental. On the bright side I should be getting a new laptop in May but that again is months away. So if I am distant from my blog this is my main reason.

I think that's about it for my weekly update this week! Hopefully it won't be too long before my next blog post.  PS: If you are wanting to know where I got my playsuit from it's from Ark and currently in the sale for £15 and they have also included two similar ones now in the sale, just click here to be taken directly to the site.
Until next time, love & peace, han x

WEEKLY UPDATE #3

Okay, this is late as this post is mean't to have gone up Sunday, however I do have an excuse which will be explained further down as my week progresses.
So, last week I did my same old same old: meaning I went to university the three days I was supposed to. I was mean't to be seeing my best friend on the Wednesday but that kind of didn't happen due to timing issues. On the other hand that Wednesday me, my mum and sister all had a meal with a family friend and received our Christmas presents which were a few things from Jack Wills. Later on that evening I also ordered an exercise bike in order for me to get fit, and so far I've managed to use it 3 times out of the 5 days of having it (not to bad for me).
So along come Friday (the day of the exercise bike arrival) and this was when my weekend began to fly by. Once the exercise bike was delivered on the Friday me and my mum spent an hour or so putting it together and whilst doing that my younger sister announced to my mum she had lost her diabetic pump monitor (that was a bit of a drama, considering she goes to America next Monday). Eventually after putting the bike together, my older sister arrived with my nephew + her fiance to stay the weekend. The Saturday me,my mum and my sisters went shopping for my nephews first pair of shoes as he started working. I then went into New Look tried 7 things of which 5 I liked and then decided I wasn't going to buy anything. After the shopping trip Saturday was just a lazy family day.
Now to Sunday which would of been the day I posted but due to family being round and looking after baby nephew I didn't really see my laptop and then in the evening I was made to go with my sister, her friend and sister's fiance (whom was driving) to go to Leeds so that my sister and her friend could go watch Bombay Bicycle club. ( I was there to go to the cinema with my sister's fiance as my sister was looking after baby at home). So, the car journey to Leeds was extremely stressful 2 diversions and then confusing lanes when actually in Leeds (literally drove past the car park 2 before managing to park up) definitely not a fan. However once we arrived I went to see the Lego Movie and loved it, it was so funny I definitely recommend you going to see it. I left with the song everything is awesome in my head for like 2 days. Once I got home from leads at like midnight I was way too tired to type up this blog post so went straight to bed.

So there's my excuse and my weekly update! Next time I will try and make sure I get it up on time. As always feel free to leave your comments below or tweet me @ramblinhan
