MAC STUDIO SCULPT: REVIEW

Mac Studio Sculpt- NW20
So back in December 2011 when I was browsing through the MAC in Heathrow Airport, I found the love of my life (well so far in my life)...Yes,it is the MAC Studio Sculpt foundation.I had always wanted a MAC foundation
and since buying this it has been my go to foundation (2 years) and I have found it's the perfect foundation for me. I have skin that I like to hide simply due to redness and acne, so I go for a good coverage foundation and this I found provides me with that.

The foundation and my opinions:

  • First thing is first, I was matched to the shade NW20 when I bought this foundation by a woman working at Mac which is a good thing when you are spending £23 on a foundation.I find that a tube of this foundation can last me 6-7 months with me using it nearly everyday making it well worth the money (for me).
  • This foundation is a creamy texture with no particular scent and provides a great coverage (definitely medium). It covers all my insecurities (red skin & acne scars) and provides em with smooth skin. Great for my combination skin.
  • I really like the packaging for this product as it's simply a squeeze out foundation from a tube rather than a glass pot with a pump which you struggle to get foundation out of in the end. I find that I can just cut the top off of the tube and get my makeup brush or finger to get the most out of this foundation.
  • Can be bought in the UK from Debenhams or House of Fraser, if not you can buy it through the MAC website online. If you are unclear on what shade I recommend using findation.com to help you work out what you will be.
Overall, I am very happy with this foundation and I think that it will be my go to foundation for quite awhile. Well at least till I'm brave enough to try out a new one. As always please leave your opinions in the comments below, I would love to know whether you have tried this product and loved it as much as me or you can tweet me @ramblinhan
love & peace, & until next time, han x
